Axis - mechanism

The second lever, measuring 80x30 mm, located on the user's right side, is used to adjust the backrest tilt, allowing for comfortable and ergonomic adjustment without needing to lean forward.
The synchronous mechanism has 4 locking positions with backrest tilt adjustment ranging from 90° to 132°. The synchronous mechanism allows for simultaneous tilting of the backrest and seat in appropriate proportions. This keeps the body in an ergonomic position even when changing positions, increasing comfort and relieving pressure on the spine.

The tilt angle lock allows the backrest to be stopped in the desired position. This is particularly important during work requiring concentration, where a stable body position increases the precision of tasks performed. Proper adjustment improves weight distribution, increases comfort, and supports ergonomic pelvic alignment.
The knob located under the seat, in its center, is used to adjust the backrest tilt tension, which is adapted to the user's weight. This is an extremely important adjustment, as setting the tilt tension too high for lighter individuals (approx. 45 kg) causes leg muscle tension and nerve compression leading to pain. Conversely, heavier individuals (approx. 90-120 kg) require stronger tilt tension, as setting it too low will result in an unexpected maximum backward tilt and excessive tension in the front of the legs. The resistance force adjustment allows the pressure needed to recline the backrest to be matched to the user's weight and preferences. This ensures smooth and controlled movement, and the backrest provides stable support without the effect of a sudden tilt for heavier individuals or excessive resistance for lighter individuals.

The anti-shock mechanism protects the user from the backrest suddenly returning after the lock is released. This prevents the backrest from hitting the back, and the change of position is smooth and safe, increasing comfort and caring for the spine. To unlock the mechanism again and set the backrest in the desired position, lean back on the backrest and gently push it backward – this allows you to re-adjust the tilt angle to your needs.
