Raffino - backrest

The backrest of the chair has been designed for durability, ergonomics, and precise adjustment to the user. It is made of durable, resistant, yet flexible upholstery, mounted on a polypropylene frame with 30% fiberglass added, which ensures high structural stability and even load distribution.

The backrest structure of the Ergo Raffino chair consists of two separate, harmoniously connected parts that provide coherent and balanced support for the back and lumbar spine.

The width of the backrest is 450 mm, and its height is 590 mm. The height adjustment - including the contoured lumbar part – is performed via 4 detents within a range of 40 mm, allowing for precise adjustment to the user's height and body structure. The tilt angle of the backrest is adjustable within 6 positions from 89° to 122°.

The back of the chair's backrest is mounted on a durable polished aluminum structure. The screws fastening the backrest to the height adjustment mechanism and the lumbar part are aesthetically hidden under a plastic cover. The structural element consists of two polished aluminum arms, diverging downwards and connecting under the seat with the mechanism elements and armrests, ensuring the integrity and rigidity of the entire structure.

The backrest structure of both chairs features a function that follows the natural movement of the user's back when leaning left and right, providing dynamic, multi-plane support and high work comfort.

The height adjustment of the backrest allows it to be adapted to the user's height, ensuring proper support for the entire spine. The tilt adjustment allows for changing position during work, which improves circulation and reduces muscle fatigue.
