The Ergo Novaro ergonomic chair fully meets the requirements and complies with the Regulation of the Minister of Family and Social Policy of October 18, 2023, amending the regulation on occupational safety and health at workstations equipped with display screen monitors.

The Ergo Novaro swivel chair is equipped with a gas spring and a backrest connected to the seat by means of a synchronous mechanism. In conjunction with the ability to adjust the height of the seat and backrest, the angle of inclination of the backrest, and the appropriately contoured seat and backrest, it ensures full adaptation of seating conditions to the individual needs of the user.

Additionally, adjustable armrests, headrest, and lumbar support, as well as the mechanisms used, enable dynamic and ergonomic sitting, as well as assuming a reclined, comfortable and ergonomic body position, conducive to relaxation and maintaining proper posture.

The chair has increased durability for users weighing up to 150 kg and is suitable for continuous 24/7 operation.

The headrest is 390 mm wide and 200 mm high, and its height and tilt angle can be adjusted, allowing the support to be perfectly adapted to the user's height and the natural curve of the cervical spine. Proper adjustment reduces neck and shoulder tension, which is crucial during long hours of computer work.

The headrest is equipped with 9 detents, which allow its height to be adjusted within a 90 mm range, while the tilt angle can be adjusted within a 60° range. The large surface of the headrest, made of flexible, durable, and resistant mesh, mounted on a frame of polypropylene reinforced with 25% fiberglass, provides multidimensional and comfortable head support, ensuring a high level of user comfort.

The backrest is made of flexible, durable, and resistant mesh, mounted on a frame made of polypropylene with 25% glass fiber additive, ensuring stability and even load distribution. The backrest consists of two separate parts that are connected and form coherent support for the back and the lumbar section of the spine.

The width of the backrest is 495 mm, and in the lumbar section, it is 450 mm. The height of the backrest is 560 mm and adjusts with the contoured lumbar part using 5 detents within a range of 50 mm. The backrest recline angle adjusts from 90° to 132° and can be locked in 4 positions.

The back of the backrest is mounted on a durable structure made of polished aluminum, whose two arms spread downwards and connect under the seat with the mechanism components. The screws fastening the backrest to the height adjustment part of the backrest and the lumbar part are aesthetically hidden under a plastic cover.

The ability to adjust the backrest height allows it to be adapted to the user's height, ensuring proper support for the entire spine. Tilt adjustment allows changing position during work, which improves circulation and reduces muscle fatigue.

In the Ergo Novaro chair, the seat is made of high-quality cast polyurethane foam (polyurethane foaming technology in molds) with a density of 55 kg/m³ and a thickness of 84 mm, covered with durable and resistant upholstery. The process of foam molding at high temperatures and the use of flexible material guarantee a uniform structure without empty spaces, which translates into high durability and resistance to deformation. The foam does not require the use of glue or formaldehyde, making it safe for health and environmentally friendly.

The seat width is 510 mm, the width with armrests is 680 mm, and the depth is 510 mm. The seat depth is adjustable by 50 mm using a handle (dimensions 80x30 mm) located just under the seat on the left side of the person sitting, which allows for easy and ergonomic adjustment of the chair to the user.

The seat height adjustment in the range of 490-590 mm is performed using the first handle (dimensions 40x30 mm) located just under the seat on the right side of the person sitting. The bottom of the seat is protected by a cover made of polypropylene with 25% fiberglass, which is 3.1 mm thick, making it resistant to deformation.

The seat combines excellent functionality with an ergonomic form, ensuring high seating comfort even during long hours of work. Such a seat allows for perfect adjustment of the chair to the user's physique, promoting comfort during many hours of sitting. The seat has a rounded front edge to reduce pressure on the thigh muscles and prevent numbness in the lower limbs when adopting a forward-leaning body position (e.g., during handwriting).

The seat height adjustment allows you to place your feet firmly on the floor, maintaining an approximately 90° angle at the knees. This is the basis of an ergonomic position that supports proper circulation and reduces strain on the lower back. It also prevents nerve compression, muscle tension, and numbness in the legs and buttocks.

The seat depth adjustment allows the chair to be adapted to the user's thigh length. The appropriate distance between the edge of the seat and the knees prevents pressure on blood vessels and improves seating comfort.

The second handle, measuring 80×30 mm and located on the user's right side, is used to adjust the backrest tilt, allowing the function to be adapted comfortably and ergonomically, without the need to lean forward.

The synchro mechanism has 4 locking levels with backrest tilt adjustment ranging from 90° to 132°. The synchro mechanism allows simultaneous tilting of the backrest and seat in appropriate proportions. Thanks to this, the body remains in an ergonomic position even when changing position, which increases comfort and relieves the spine.

The tilt angle lock allows the backrest to be stopped in the chosen position. This is particularly important when working that requires concentration, as a stable body position increases the precision of tasks performed. Proper adjustment improves body weight distribution, increases comfort, and supports an ergonomic pelvic position.

The knob located under the seat, in its center, is used to adjust the backrest tilt force, which is adapted to the user's weight. This is an extremely important adjustment, as setting the tilt force too high for light individuals (approx. 45 kg) causes leg muscle tension and nerve compression leading to pain. On the other hand, heavier individuals (approx. 90-120 kg) need a stronger tilt force, as setting it too weak will result in an unexpected maximum backward tilt and excessive tension in the front of the legs. Adjusting the resistance force allows matching the pressure needed to tilt the backrest to the user's weight and preferences. This ensures smooth and controlled movement, and the backrest provides stable support without the effect of a sudden tilt for a heavier person or excessive resistance for a lighter person.

The anti-shock mechanism protects the user from a sudden return of the backrest after releasing the lock. Thanks to this, the backrest does not hit the back, and the change of position is smooth and safe, increasing comfort and taking care of the spine. To unlock the mechanism again and set the backrest in the desired position, lean back on the backrest and gently push it backward – this allows you to re-adjust the tilt angle to your own needs.

The chair has armrests with a soft 3D adjustable surface made of polyamide with 30% fiberglass and polyurethane. The armrest pad length is 260 mm, and the width is 110 mm, tapering to 90 mm towards the back. The armrests adjust in the following planes:

- up-down adjustment in 4 positions over a range of 70 mm

- front-back adjustment in 5 positions over a range of 65 mm

- left-right angle adjustment of the pad over a range of 24°.

The multi-plane adjustment of the armrests allows for proper forearm positioning and shoulder relief. Correct adjustment reduces neck tension and the risk of wrist discomfort.

The gas lift is a Class 4 lift, with a 100 mm extension. It is made of a steel casing that can withstand an even load of up to 200 kg, ensuring stability, and the internal core of the lift is filled with compressed nitrogen with a purity of 99.7%, which guarantees smooth and precise seat height adjustment while maintaining maximum safety of use.

The total height adjustment of the chair, including seat height, backrest, and headrest adjustments, ranges from 1160-1390 mm.

The chair base is made of durable polished aluminum alloy, class 350#. The base can withstand a maximum static load of up to 1136 kg. The base itself has a diameter of 640 mm, and with the casters, a diameter of 700 mm. Five 60 mm diameter casters are attached to the base.

The ability to freely rotate 360° increases mobility at the workstation and reduces the need for torso twisting. This lowers the risk of spinal overload and improves the ergonomics of daily movements.

The armchair has 5 nylon castors with a diameter of 60 mm with silent 360° rotation. This type of castor reduces wear on surfaces such as parquet and laminate flooring.

Both the mesh and the fabric are designed for use in office buildings and public facilities with high resistance to abrasion, light and fire.
